Pic credit: Luigi Novi
Local comic book geeks have gone Mad with the latest guest announcement for this year's STGCC.

For he is none other than Joe Madureira - artist, writer and game developer, who has a large international fan base.

Fans may know him best for his work in Marvel Comics' "Uncanny X-Men", his creator owned "Battle Chasers", and games like "Darksiders".

Currently, Joe Mad (as he is affectionately known by his fans) is working on Marvel's "Savage Wolverine" with writer Zeb Wells. The two used to work together in "Avenging Spider-Man".

This will be Joe Madureira's first visit and appearance in Red Dot Island. Joe is expected warned to have some exclusives available during the convention and on his Facebook page, he has warned his fans here: "Singapore, get ready!"

Red Dot Diva is pretty sure that the local and SE Asian fans are uber-super-ready to give Joe a very warm welcome. YES????! :D

New Staff Writer

On a separate but connected piece of news, Red Dot Diva is also very pleased to introduce a new staff writer on board.

You might have already read his recent blog contributions about Yoshitaka Amano's art exhibition and Dextor Soy's recent visit here.

Dear readers, please give a Big Friendly Wave to Andre aka Red Dot Dude.

Andre loves comics, manga, anime and also enjoys collecting toys and artwork. And ever since Red Dot Diva has gotten to know him, he has been the nicest, most supportive, reliable and helpful fellow geek friend. And on top of all that, is Andre's trademark - his scintillating Million-Dollar-Smile.

Mr RDD will be actively doing interviews and writing articles before, during and after the convention. And he will be the RDD blog's extra pair of ears and eyes on the ground level.

There is word that more very exciting STGCC-related news are on its way very soon.
So, remember to check back in here for more announcements!

'Coz... Team RDD is all ready to rock STGCC this year!
RAWRRrrr!
