"X-Men: Days of Future Past" - Countdown Begins To Blue Carpet Event in Singapore Tomorrow!

Just mere hours to go for the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" Blue Carpet Event at Shaw Lido tomorrow!

The premiere kicked off in NYC's Javits Convention Centre on May 10 saw cast members from old and new X-Men movies gathering together to celebrate the event. Check out this awesome pic from the NYC #XMenLive below:

Next stop was London. Several fans had braved the rainy weather to line up the night before. Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy were there to grace the event and here's a really cute vid of younger Magneto and older Professor X! Red Dot Diva simply loves how giggly and smiley Fassie is in person!

As it is, the three X-Men actors who will be in town tomorrow - Hugh Jackman, Fan Bingbing and Peter Dinklage - are now in Beijing for #XMenLive there. And next up, is the premiere in Moscow where Michael Fassbender is expected to attend.

Red Dot Diva is excited to be covering the event and attending the Red Dot Island preview tomorrow. Yet, she also feels a little nervous about getting down and sweaty with a hoard of burly cameramen in the media pit. She is not sure how close she might get to the celebs walking down the blue carpet, but she will play it by ear when the time comes.

On Monday, she manage to check out the initial set-up of the stage area, which is smack in the middle of the Isetan store.

From the early set-up, Red Dot Diva also spotted media tables were placed on each side of the stage.

The stars are set to walk from the side of International Plaza (that is the building next to Shaw House, with TCC on the ground floor) down the front of Isetan and appearing from the back of the staging. They will also probably head back of the stage to go to Shaw Lido's theatres located upstairs.

The tenants of Shaw Centre was also already warned about the upcoming event!

Fans and the public who are want soak in the excitement tomorrow should study the event map already posted on TODAY's comprehensive article. Those with special passes or contest winners would most probably be cocooned in the mosh pit at the centre, like sheep in a pen. But, do note - there will a fair bit of space between those barricades and the stage proper for the media as well.

If the setup is similar to the premiere for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", Red Dot Diva thinks that being near the barricades at the public "Fan Zone" area would give general fans a better chance at exchanging handshakes/ fistbumps, taking selfies and grabbing autographs with the stars. When you are a short person in the mosh pit, you tend to lose out if someone tall happens to be standing one or two rows in front of you.

Hit any of those "Fan Zone" spots early (like tomorrow noon), and get to be in the first couple of people nearest to the safety barricades. Standing around the Instagram booth seem to be a very good location judging from how many actors choose to stop by at those at the premieres in NYC and London. In addition, for extra incentive, early birds will get to win some contest goodies at the venue.

Some other tips from Red Dot Diva:
- the weather has been extremely hot and humid lately. If you tend to overheat or get very sweaty, bring a small towel to wipe yourself down or a mini fan to help you stay cool. Maybe an extra change of t-shirt as well. At the very least, it'll help make you feel more comfortable for the wait.

- have enough bottled water along with you. You can buy some at the Isetan supermarket in the basement if you need more.

- wear comfortable shoes. It is going to be quite a long wait standing on your feet. Based on Red Dot Diva's experience at movie premieres, the celebrities tend to arrive "late in style".

- start charging your batteries for your digital babies TONIGHT! Bring extra batteries or power tubes too. You don't want your mobile phone or cameras to suddenly die on you during that "perfect moment".

- stay safe, be kind to one another and help keep a lookout for the people around you. If someone is not feeling well or has been accosted, help to get assistance from officials immediately.

- do stay polite with the celebs. That said, Red Dot Diva thinks that generally, local fans here are very sweet when meeting their favourite actors. Most celebs are gracious and lovely to meet too, and they will be dealing with the horrible humidity as well, so keep it nice and make it as good an Xperience for them as it will be for you!

Other than Hugh Jackman, Fan Bingbing and Peter Dinklage, many regional and local celebrities are also expected to walk down the Blue Carpet. As action movie "Agent 47" have been in production for the last two weeks here, cast members like Rupert Friend are also said to be coming for the premiere!

Red Dot Diva hopes that many of you will get to meet the stars you admire, and she would love to hear about your Xperience tomorrow evening.

Do feel free to tweet her at @syzzlyn and tag her with interesting Blue Carpet news, tidbits, opinions/ views and photos for her to share with her many overseas readers and those who may be stuck at home. Plus, do remember to hashtag your post with #XmenLive!
