Toy Photographer Sunny Ang Shares About Telling Epic Tales in Tiny Worlds

A couple of years back, while bashing through the jungles of social media, scouting for interesting Star Wars toy photos, Red Dot Diva found an Instagram account called zekezachzoom.

She browsed through his feed and could not help chuckling at the eye-catching images, usually featuring action figures or Lego minifigures in funny and sometimes very localised situations. The best part of the photos were the accompanying witty one-liners. Even now, those amusing photos help brighten up her day. Like, giant smiles guaranteed.

Since then, Red Dot Diva has gotten to know Sunny Ang, the owner of the Instagram account, in real life. He is chatty, amiable and Red Dot Diva gets the sense that he has a stream of creative ideas buzzing in his head.

As they say, when one finds good stuff, one must SHARE the good stuff. So, world at large, here's an interview with hobby toy photographer Sunny Ang.

Red Dot Diva: Hi Sunny! Tell the folks out there a little about yourself.
Sunny: Firstly, thanks for this opportunity to share my thoughts on this hobby. My name’s Sunny Ang and my online moniker is zekezachzoom. I have been on my own as a graphic designer for the past 20 years. I only got involved with toy photography two years ago, when I stumbled upon the toy photography community on Instagram.

Red Dot Diva: What got you interested in toy photography?
Sunny: One fine day, feeling rather bored, I fooled around with a Spider-man action figure and took a shot of him overlooking the neighbourhood. I liked how life-like he looked and posted it on Instagram. Subsequently, I discovered the huge and very supportive toy photography community there.

Red Dot Diva: Who are your inspirations when it comes to toy photography?
Sunny: That’s a pretty tough question. There are so many inspiring photographers, and that’s just on Instagram alone! If I have to pick, then it would have to be Vesa Lehtimaki aka avanaut. He does pretty amazing compositing work and his lighting work is fantastic. I would also like to mention the following as people I try to learn more from: Johnny Wu aka sgtbananas, Matt Rhode aka CaptainKaos , Mitchel Wu aka mitchelwuphotography

Red Dot Diva: On average, how long does it take to shoot one of your photography ideas?
Sunny: I usually spend about an hour or so on each photo. It depends on the setup. I think the longest one was around 4 hours.

Red Dot Diva: What are the main challenges faced while doing your projects? Any major lessons learnt from these experiences?
Sunny: Posing for a convincing shot and setting up the scene is always a challenge. A minor tweak to the head or any other part of the body can help sell the shot. Especially eye contact when shooting multiple figures interacting. Also, when the figures fall down, they tend to bring each other down. We call this the domino effect.

Some days, I sweat buckets moving from camera to scene, making slight adjustments because the figures are not in the proper pose or position or have fallen down. So, learning the best way to secure the figure’s position is important to an enjoyable shoot.

Red Dot Diva: Of all the photos you've done, which is your personal favourite? Why?
Sunny: My personal favourite would be the one where the Snowtroopers from Star Wars share a drumstick with a Wampa. It had heart and draws you in. I liked the lighting in it too, cause it gave a warmth , fuzzy feeling.

Red Dot Diva: Is there such a thing as "too much photoshopping"?
Sunny: Everyone has an opinion on this and mine is whatever works to tell the story, practical effects or otherwise. Is like watching a special effects laden movie. If the effects doesn’t compliment the story, then it’s not effective, even if it was fantastically done.

Red Dot Diva: Isn't collecting toys an expensive hobby? How do you manage your finances concerning this?
Sunny: HAHAHAHA! I have to be careful with this answer, least my wife sees this article. I kid! On the contrary, she has been very supportive of me in this hobby. I pay my bills and mortgages first and foremost and then indulge myself after these are cleared. Also, I don’t collect the REALLY EXPENSIVE toys. There is a limit I will spend on any figure. If it is something that’s really awesome ( I love this so much, but NOT US$500 MUCH), but out of my budget, I will just have to let it go.

I usually buy my figures from Carousell. Occasionally, I do come across some good bargains. On some occasions, when some of these sellers found out about my hobby, they offered to lend me some of their figures to shoot! Speaking of which, I have also met a few of such generous people at events and talks and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their offer! Lastly, when I go on photo safari with my toy photography friends from Facebook group Plastic Singapore, we share our toys too.

Red Dot Diva: Talking about Plastic Singapore, tell us more about the group. What do you guys do, and how often you meet?
Sunny: Plastic Singapore was created when I met Vince Li at Maker Faire 2014. We exchanged Instagram accounts at the event after finding out we had the same interest in toy photography. Vince, inspired by Stuck In Plastic, suggested a local toy safari. The latter is a US group who, amongst other things, organises annual outdoor shoots with toys as the main subject.

At the same time, I had just started the Facebook page, Plastic Singapore to post photos of toys caught in unique Singapore situations. With not much content then, I converted it to a platform to coordinate future outings, mostly to places which are due for demolition. It has evolved to a platform to share shooting tips as some members post behind-the-scene shots. This makes the final shots even more fascinating as the setup can sometimes be very simple. It’s also a great way to make new friends and learn from one another. We usually arrange outings on a monthly basis.

Red Dot Diva: What do you think makes your photography different from the rest?
Sunny: When I first started, it has always been about the humour. I think that is my strength. I try to inject wit and humour with short captions. Let the viewer work out the joke rather than telling them directly. If I get just one smiley or an LOL in the comment section, I would have accomplished my mission.
Red Dot Diva: I have lost count how many times I've LOL-ed after seeing your photos!

Red Dot Diva: What is your project wish list?
Sunny: I would be very proud to be able to have a book published.

Red Dot Diva: Any tips for toy photographers who are starting out?
Sunny: Shoot more. Shoot often. Look for inspiration but create your own style. The internet is full of resources. Look for the Instagram toy photography community. Post photos there with appropriate hashtags. People are generally very supportive there and the comments will keep you motivated.

Also, there is a small movement happening now on Google plus platform too, with regards to toy photography. Search Youtube for TOY PHOTOGRAPHY. There are lots of tips and tricks you can pick up. On Facebook, you can check out other people’s setup. Or join Plastic Singapore on their toy safari.

Red Dot Diva: What do you hope to achieve in the coming talk and workshop at library@orchard this weekend?
Sunny: I hope to share some tips and tricks and also create more awareness to this art form. That way, people who buy certain toys can express their love for a particular character beyond displaying them.

Red Dot Diva has collected some of Sunny's toy photo prints because they are simply irresistible. Here are some of the latest that she acquired during May the 4th Celebrations 2017:

Winter Is Here! New Game of Thrones Season 7 Trailer and Posters Offer More Hints

While gazillion "Game of Thrones" fans have been waiting impatiently for Season 7 to arrive, a new trailer was released by HBO. The cable channel had sneakily usurped the summer solstice with the battle cry that #WinterIsHere.

Needless to say, the action-filled trailer got the GoT fans going Stark crazy.

Red Dot Diva herself spotted a huge grin on her face that looked somewhat like this (minus those awesome sharp teeth):

via GIPHY

Any hardcore "Game of Thrones" fan must have watched the new trailer multiple times by now, trying to piece together the sneak peeks of various characters in different locations. There are a host of geek websites and podcasts that have broken down each teaser scene in detail, so Red Dot Diva is not going to rehash that.

All she is going to say is, not only #WinterIsHere, #WarIsComing also. Massive, fiery, bloody wars that seem to be the focus of the season, as the various houses and their alliances begin to converge.

Here are scenes that Red Dot Diva is eager to watch in Season 7:

Ubisoft Singapore Sails the High Seas with New IP Pirate Game "Skull and Bones"!

At a celebratory cocktail event held at KC Arts Centre last Tuesday, 13 June, game developer Ubisoft Singapore's team was in extremely high spirits.

That mood was expected, of course. The passionate team - some of them were at Los Angeles attending The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017 (E3 2017), while others at base camp had stayed up till past 4 AM watching the E3 Ubisoft conference  - was elated over the official announcement of their two biggest projects.

The highlights of the E3 2017 conference about these game titles were shared with the press and invited guests that night.

The first title to be unveiled by Creative director Justin Farren at the E3 conference was the big budget AAA online multiplayer pirate adventure called "Skull and Bones". This is the first new IP created by the talented Ubisoft Singapore team, and it is something that the studio has always dreamed of building ever since it was heavily involved with "Assassin's Creed: Black Flag".

STGCC 2017: First Few Guests Announced - Frank Cho, Arthur Adams, Joyce Chin, Leon Chiro and More!

The Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention is celebrating its 10th birthday this year, and the 1st batch of guests has already been announced. The local pop culture event returns at MBS' Expo & Convention Centre, Halls D to F, on 9 & 10th September 2017.

The weekend coincides with another event called Chara Expo, which is held at Suntec Convention Centre. However, for those who are more interested in designer toys and Western-based stuff, STGCC is still the place to be!

The first few guests officially announced by STGCC will please many local and regional fans.

Heading his way to Red Dot Island is writer/ artist Frank Cho. Frank Cho has drawn for several comic book titles, like Marvel's "Mighty Avengers" and "The Hulk", DC Comic's current "Harley Quinn" as well as worked on creator-owned projects like "Skybourne" published by Boom! Studios, and "World of Payne" together with writer Tom Sniegoski for Flesh Publications.

Known for his mature, cheesecake style art, Frank Cho has stirred up a series of controversies lately. There was that feud with writer Greg Rucka concerning the censorship of his Wonder Woman Rebirth variant cover art, and his questionable depictions of teenage female superheroes, like Spider-Gwen and The Unstoppable Wasp. Still, Red Dot Diva is pretty sure that would not stop his fans here from swarming his booth for sketches and autographs.

May the 4th 2017: Special Greeting from Ray Park for Star Wars Fans in Singapore

Pic from Ray Park's Twitter
Even though his moments as Darth Maul were quite short in "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace", a heavily made-up Ray Park owned and stole those scenes with his graceful, acrobatic wuxia-style stunt moves wielding the Sith Lord's iconic double-blade lightsaber. And with those few minutes, he earned himself gazillions of fans across the globe.

He has since acted in "X-Men", two G.I. Jones movies, in TV series "Heroes" amongst many other productions.

Red Dot Diva has a huge huge crush on Ray Park ever since she saw him in Episode I, and she was over the moon when she found out that he will be attending Star Wars Celebration Europe, held in London last year. Of course she had to get the photo and autoraph ops with Ray!

The actor is super-friendly to his hoard of fans, and he interacts with the RP Fandom regularly on Twitter and Instagram.

May the 4th 2017: Meet Lightsaber Wielding Mint Kang from Fightsaber Singapore

Fighting like a girl can be awesome, especially if you are wielding a lightsaber!

Mint Kang can count that as one of her skills as she performs choreographed Star Wars-themed lightsaber fight scenes on stage and at events about twice a year as part of the Fightsaber team.

Fightsaber is a not for profit Star Wars lightsaber performance and costuming organisation founded by Grand Master Sas-Ejiid aka Azmi Danuri, a passionate and long time Star Wars fan who also loves sword fighting. Mint Kang joined the group since 2012.

Red Dot Diva is curious about what it's like to spar with both Jedi and Sith, so she asked Mint Kang many nosy questions!

Red Dot Diva: Is your name really Mint?
Ming Kang (MK): Yes, my name actually is Mint. :p  I started using an English name a long time ago because when I first started working, overseas clients couldn't pronounce my Chinese name. It stuck (occasionally I do regret it).

May the 4th 2017: Celebrate 40 Years of Star Wars at the Fan Zone, Gardens by the Bay!

It's the 40th year of Star Wars, and there is a grand official festival taking place at Gardens by the Bay, but in Red Dot Diva's opinion, nothing beats celebrating Star Wars with the fan community.

Last year's May the 4th celebration at Kallang Wave was a fantastic, heartwarming weekend affair, with Star Wars fans of all ages coming together. Many of whom were decked out in costumes of their favourite characters.

Thanks to a bunch of hardworking, dedicated Star Wars fans - including members of 501st Legion SG, Rebel Legion, Fightsaber and Suhaimi's Gulliver's Chronicles - there is a chance to interact again with the local community again this year! The totally fan-led event called the Star Wars Fanzone will take place at the Supertree Grove, Gardens by the Bay from May the 4th to 6th, 2017, which is the same venue as the official one organized by Disney and Esprimo.

So, what can one expect at the Star Wars Fanzone?

LOTS!!

Diva Watched Master Artist Salavat Fidai Transform Pencil Tips into Game of Thrones Microsculptures

Grand sweeping landscapes, massive battle scenes and memorable dramatic visuals are mainstays of HBO's award-winning fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones".

However, to promote upcoming Season 7 of "Game of Thrones", fans are invited to view their beloved TV show in a much smaller scale. An epicly miniscule scale, to be exact.

Together with art studio and curatorial space K+, HBO Asia commissioned microsculptor Salavat Fidai to carve 16 pieces of various images from the show, all on the tips of fragile graphite lead pencils.

The entire exhibit took 4 months for the Russian artist to complete.

The result is a special exhibition called "Game of Thrones: A Pencil Microsculpture Exhibition by Salavat Fidai", held at K+ Scotts Square till June 4, and admission is FREE!

"The Art Behind the Game - The Ubisoft Experience" held at the National Design Centre, focuses on the Assassin's Creed franchise, which has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. One of the biggest selling game franchises of all time, Assassin's Creed offers its fans opportunities to take the "leap of faith" and fight for freedom.

The exhibition is held in partnership with DesignSingapore Council, as part of VOILAH! French Festival 2017. This year's VOILAH! festival's theme is about imagination and innovation, and the eye-catching Ubisoft event encapsulates these ideas perfectly.

However, to promote the upcoming new season, HBO Asia is offering fans a chance to view Westeros in a whole different level - a very tiny level to be exact. 16 of these astoundingly intricate carvings will be on display at K+ Curatorial Space this coming weekend till 4 June, and it is free to attend! Glitzy 3-Day Celebration for Star Wars May the 4th 2017 at Gardens by the Bay

Local Star Wars fans would have already been aware or signed up for the first Star Wars Run held on May 6th organized by sports event management company, Esprimo.

In addition to the themed run, the company has also collaborated with the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board to make this year's May The 4th celebration into a three-day festival at Gardens by the Bay's Supertree Grove.

The galactic shindig kicks off on Thursday May 4th with appearances of Chewbacca and Kylo-Ren, a SaberTrees Light-up of the supertrees as well as the specially choreographed Garden Rhapsody Star Wars Edition light show set to the movie franchise's iconic soundtrack.

A replica of the two-legged All-Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) will also be standing guard at the Supertree Grove. This should be a great photo opportunity for any Star Wars fans, especially if you are dressed for the occasion!

Diva's Recap of "Ghost in the Shell" 14-Minute Preview (Spoilers!)

At a small "Ghost In The Shell" fan event last Friday, 17 March 2017, Red Dot Diva had the chance to watch a 14-minute sneak peek of the live action movie in 3D.

Despite the furore over the casting of Scarlett Johansson as Major (which is based on Motoko Kusanagi in the manga by Masamune Shirow) and "whitewashing" of the popular franchise, the film looks visually stunning. It took just a few minutes for Red Dot Diva to feel immersed in the near-future cybernetic world, and she wished it was a full movie screening instead.

"Ghost In The Shell" is a story about a cybernetic anti-terrorist field commander Major, who is determined on going after a hacker called The Puppet Master. There may be a larger purpose to The Puppet Master's plans to take control of Hanka Corporation's artificial intelligence programs, and Major begins to uncover her past and question about her own existence.

For the live action movie, instead of The Puppet Master, the main enemy is cyborg ghost-hacker named Kuze (Michael Pitts). Or rather, Kuze will a mix of the two anime characters in the upcoming film directed by Rupert Sanders.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Arrives on HBO Asia 17 July 2017, 9 AM

Winter is Coming. And so is War!

After that shocking "Game of Thrones" S6 season finale where a whole bunch of people went Kaboom!, the cruel and scheming Cersei ended up being crowned as Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. From then on, things are just going to get more intense.

The convergence of the different houses in Season 7 will unfold in just seven episodes as the different players focus on King's Landing. This is ominously depicted in the first official teaser made entirely of sigils belonging to the main Houses at play - the Lannisters, the Targaryens, the Starks, the Baratheons and the Tyrells, plus one more powerful game changer - the White Walkers.

Will the Great Wall hold? Or will it all come tumbling down?

Kinokuniya Singapore's Main Store at Ngee Ann City Has A New Front!

YAYY!

After a few months of renovation works, Kinokuniya's flagship store at Ngee Ann City opened its new frontage yesterday.

The book store - which has a large and loyal following - acquired the tenancy of the adjacent space which was previously occupied by a restaurant. Kinokuniya Main Store now takes up about 38,000 square feet of retail space, expanding its Level 4 space for more books, more collectibles and more goodies!

About 20 eager fans waited at the main entrance yesterday morning for the shutters to scroll up. Red Dot Diva was there as well to be one of the few to experience the spanking new area. Her verdict? It certainly made the store looked more spacious, fresher and was easy on the eye.

Disney's "Beauty and the Beast": The Giant Rose in Bell Jar at Raffles City and other Limited Edition Product Collaborations

It's time to countdown to the live action movie of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast", which will launch at Red Dot Island movie theatres on 16 March 2017.

The movie stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou, amongst many others including Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts and Sir Ian McKellen as Cogsworth.

Ever since the animated movie back in 1991, the image of a red rose in a bell jar has become synonymous with "Beauty and the Beast". In the original movie version - which Red Dot Diva could watch over and over again - the enchanted floating rose represented a clock, a visual reminder of what beauty really means, counting down to the end of the spell placed on the Beast, when he would return back to human form if he found everlasting love by his 21st birthday, or forever remain as a monster. Of course, for the romantics, the red rose is also a symbol of true love.

From now till 26 March 2017, fans can revel in the larger than life Rose and Bell Jar on display at Raffles City mall.

Fans Go *SNIKT*! Over Absolute Comics' Sexist Movie Review of "Logan"

The sad state of affairs.

Not cool, Absolute Comics. Not cool at all.

In fact, it is downright disgusting and unacceptable. Not to mention, so so creepy. YUCKS.

Red Dot Diva does not patronize the local store called Absolute Comics (thank the goddesses!), so it was only when two of her friends shared the shop's Facebook snapshot review of the movie "Logan" yesterday, that she got wind of the situation.

The offensive post has already been removed from Absolute Comic's Facebook timeline, but here's a screenshot of the original one, captured by a friend @sanzochan.

Fan Activities for new Wolverine movie "Logan", happening at Shaw Lido!

The latest X-Men movie "Logan" will premiere on local theatres on 2 March 2017. Lead actor Hugh Jackman has mentioned that this will be the last time he will be performing as the powerful mutant Wolverine, with the trademark adamantium claws.

The Aussie actor has played the role of Wolverine 9 times in the various X-Men movies. More amazingly, Hugh Jackman, who is in his late 40s, have managed to look even more ripped as Wolverine in the recent films than his very first appearance in 2000!

To celebrate the movie's launch in Red Dot Island, Shaw Theatres IMAX® and Twentieth Century Fox have planned some special fan activities. For starters, if you cannot wait for the official premiere date of "Logan", you can already book for a special preview screening at Shaw IMAX theatres on 1 March, 8 PM at SGD 20 per ticket. Each attendee will receive a special "Logan" mini poster! (Do note that the movie has been rated M18.)

Over at Shaw Lido, there will be a photo exhibition called featuring behind-the-scenes  from the movie. To pay tribute to the wonderful Hugh Jackman, fans can also leave notes on a message wall.

Join the "Femme Magnifique" Graphic Novel Anthology Kickstarter Campaign!

Never before has the volume of female voices come through so strongly in various forms of geek and pop culture than in recent times, where the rights of women are being questioned and debated upon. These discussions range from the Gamergate incident, the hacking and leaking of celebrities' nude photos, and the rise of "Cosplay Is Not Consent", to the success of the movie "Hidden Figures" which was based on the lives of three black female "computers" who worked at NASA.

Most of these voices from women have been delivered with courage in times of adversity and polarity, while some voices are made in derision against or in confusion as to what a female voice really means. There may be a high level of unfiltered noise and negativity in the feminist rhetoric, and yet, this is the opportunity to fight stereotypes about women and set the stage for more varied and uplifting female-centric stories to be told.

Former Executive Editor of DC's Vertigo imprint Shelly Bond takes up the challenge by creating a comic book project called "Femme Magnifique". She will be working closely together with Kristy and Brian Miller of HiFi Colour Design to publish the hardcover graphic novel anthology, which will consist of 30 short stories about kickass women who have been trailblazers in art, science, history and pop culture.

Diva's Movie Review: "The Lego Batman Movie" Is Funny and Simply Bat-astic!

Total geekgasm is how Red Dot Diva would describe "The Lego Batman Movie", which premiered in local theatres on Thursday, 9 February 2017.

There's LEGO of course, kapow! action, tons of comic book references, several pop-culture nods, and Batman. Lots and lots of Batman! In fact, "The Lego Batman Movie" is more Batman than the Batman movies of recent years, and most of all, it's the funniest!

With Will Arnett providing Lego Batman with his imitable deep raspy voice, the animated bricked Dark Knight is even more larger than life, his over-the-top heroic gestures and constant declaration that he only works alone, is just but an excuse to avoid feeling abandoned again. Even his arch nemesis The Joker (voiced wonderfully by Zach Galifianakis) knows that all too well.

Friday, February 3, 2017

Join the Batmania at the LEGO Batman Movie Activity Area & Fan Event at ION Orchard!

This is the Batman Movie you have all been waiting for!

The awesomely successful "The Lego Movie" was the film that introduced us to the egoistical but hilarious "I'm Batman-I Only Dress In Black"-LEGO Batman (Will Arnett). Since his superhero personality is too Huge to remain in just one movie, the Bat is BACK. This time, he will be calling all the shots (or he thinks he will be) in "The LEGO Batman Movie", by going up against The Joker (Zach Galifianakis) in order to save Gotham City.

Not quite used to working with a team, Batman also faces challenges battling the band of villains together with orphan Dick Grayson aka Robin (Michael Cera), Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl (Rosario Dawson) and the ever loyal and classy butler, Alfred (Ralph Fiennes).

Directed by Chris McKay, and produced by Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Roy Lee, "The LEGO Batman Movie" premieres in Red Dot Island theatres on 9 February 2017!

For the last couple of months, Team Batman ,i.e. LEGO Batman himself, Robin and Batgirl, has been meeting their fans at shopping malls and cinemas around the island. Being hardcore fans of #TeamRichGuys, Red Dot Diva and geek-girl pal Jas managed to catch the trio at Cathay Cineleisure the week before Chinese New Year!

Women's Marches Draw Millions Across The Globe

There was a great disturbance in the Force yesterday, 21 January 2017, a day after the inauguration of Sith Lord Donald Trump as the 45th POTUS.

With the man taking over the reins of the highest power in the U.S., the rights of women as well as those of minorities, immigrants and LGBTQ seem to be more at stake than ever before. Neither have the men he chose to serve in his cabinet manage to instill confidence that the people's rights are not being threatened.

The constant fight for equality, representation and diversity is a familiar thing for women everywhere. It takes place at home, at school and in the workplace, and started from the very day you were born.

Never abating, the struggle continues and sometimes, it feels like a lost cause. Then there are days where you strive to keep up with the momentum and do or die, to have your voice heard because you are, in a way, also standing up for your fellow sisters who may not have a similar opportunity to speak for themselves. Red Dot Diva feels ... has been living with such strong sentiments. She believes most of you do too.

At the Women's Marches across several cities in the U.S., activists gathered and rallied for women's rights. The grassroot-organized march was estimated to be the biggest protest in the history of the U.S. with over a million participants. About half a million people converged in Washington D.C. with hundreds of thousands of others in Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and Denver.

Pokémons Everywhere! Go on the Poke Trail at Singapore Changi Airport

Red Dot Diva is not a Pokémon game player, and yet, she is totally attracted to the uber-cute designs of the characters. See? The game is so evil that it can even lure a non-gamer!

Changi Airport has been cashing in on the Pokémon craze this 2016/ 2017 festive season, with various installations and activities up till 11 Feb 2016. That means, the fun stuff will be around till after Chinese New Year!

Amongst all the activities, Red Dot Diva thought going on the Poké Trail was the most fun. She loves a good hunt and in fact, she went back to Changi Airport three times to try to catch 'em all. Well, at least those that are in the public areas!

A new batch of Pokémons appeared around the airport terminals on 5 December 2016, so on Christmas Eve, she went to check them out together with geek gal pal, Jas. That was her 3rd attempt at searching for the little critters.

Here's Red Dot Diva's route for the Poké Trail around the public areas. If you are coming by train or bus, it may be easiest to start from Terminal 3. When you find the Pokémons, do not forget to take a selfie with them. Then, post at least 3 selfies on your social media accounts with the hashtag #PokemonatChangi. You will get a chance to win something at the lucky spin.
